Children in Worship

Children are a vital part of the Friendship Presbyterian Church family and are encouraged to participate in worship as fully as possible. A nursery is available for children 4 and under, and worship bags are provided for children through 5th grade.

At Friendship, children help to lead worship by serving as acolytes (candle lighters), liturgists (readers), and ushers and greeters. By participating in worship with the congregation, children learn more fully to worship and praise God on their own and grow into a stronger relatioship with God.
